WCM is a holding and investment company founded in 1961 in order to promote and develop investments in the newly created State of Israel by Sir Isaac Wolfson, Sir Charles Clore, the Mayer family and the Government of Israel.

The company was listed on the Israel Stock Exchange since its founding. In the end of the year 2000, Mrs. Rina Mayer tendered a purchase offer for the outstanding shares, and is currently the sole shareholder. At present, WCM is a privately owned entity.

Through its subsidiaries and its affiliated companies, the WCM Group encompasses a broad cross section of Israel´s economy, mainly in real estate, construction, manufacturing and life science technology.
